Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a data reporting professional to build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel reports connected to Power BI. You will write optimized SQL queries, support a migration to Microsoft Fabric, and work with business teams to define data and reporting needs.

The role requires 1.5+ years in a similar role, a related Bachelor's degree, and strong attention to data accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
1.5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in SQL for querying and data extraction.
Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI.
Excel reports connected to Power BI experience.
Experience in Microsoft Fabric implementation project.
Passive English proficiency (reading documentation).
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Build, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel connected to Power BI.
Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and data needs.
Support the migration of our data warehouse to Microsoft Fabric.
Collaborate with business teams to understand data and reporting requirements.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure report accuracy.
Document queries, data flows, and reports for future reference.
Ensure timely delivery of report requests from internal stakeholders.
