Job description

Revenue management leader of a portfolio of hotels, the PRM is driving RM strategy, projects and initiatives to hotels. Manage the development, implementation and assessment of revenue-related strategies for hotels, encompassing all facets of pricing, demand analysis, yield management, market segmentation, business mix optimization, selling strategies and tactics in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Assist in leadership of regional teams and hotels by providing revenue management strategies and tactics to maximize revenue and profit streams. Provide direct support to Company Managed Hotels (CMH) to drive performance metrics.

Drive the development, implementation and operation of both strategic and tactical programs designed to enhance revenue management services penetration and deliver significant competitive advantage for the Hotel. Responsible for performance and business trend analysis, process evaluation, budgeting, field-level training, and deployment of company resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work remotely as the direct revenue leader for 2-6 hotels, holding regular revenue generation calls with the hotels.
  • Maintain expertise in IHG systems and revenue processes for self and direct reports.
  • Collaborate with RSPD and Sr PRM community to improve performance, share best practices, and successes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive business needs, including tools, data, reporting, and processes.
  • Develop new SLs & deliverables aligned with BU needs.
  • Support the Director in managing the IHG Revenue (RMH) P&L effectively.
  • Ensure successful rollout of new tools, system releases & programs with team education and adoption.
  • Develop the Revenue Management talent pipeline across IHG Revenue (RMH), supporting their development and career goals.
  • Stay informed on industry and market intelligence to drive revenue performance.
  • Lead or participate in projects as requested.
  • Provide insights into hotel performance and outlook to the commercial team.
  • Attend portfolio reviews with the commercial team as needed.
  • Support NHOP setup directly or through reports.
  • Provide guidance & support to area Managed hotels not on the program as needed.

Key Skills & Experiences

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years in hotel operations management, revenue management; cluster experience preferred. Proficiency in central reservations and revenue management systems, hotel pricing, yield management, and selling strategies.
