Qualifications

• Experience in pool maintenance and gardening, preferably in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining pool water quality by monitoring chemical levels and treatments.
• Cleaning and servicing pool equipment (filters, pumps, circulation systems).
• Daily pool area cleaning (vacuuming, skimming, scrubbing).
• Maintaining landscaped gardens through watering, weeding and pruning.
• Planting flowers, shrubs and trees per garden designs and seasons.
• Operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Inspecting pool and garden areas for maintenance issues and reporting repairs.
• Ensuring health and safety regulations for pool operations and landscaping.
• Keeping records of maintenance activities and chemical treatments.
• Assisting with pest control in garden areas.

About the role

PT Bali Mana One is seeking a dedicated Pool & Gardener to join our hospitality team in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the exceptional outdoor spaces and aquatic facilities that define our guests' experience. As Pool & Gardener, you will be responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our pool areas and landscaped gardens, ensuring they remain pristine, safe and inviting at all times. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality standards and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

Maintaining pool water quality by monitoring chemical levels, conducting regular testing and performing necessary treatments to ensure safety and hygiene standards

Cleaning and servicing pool equipment, including filters, pumps and circulation systems

Daily pool area cleaning, including vacuuming, skimming debris and scrubbing surfaces

Preparing and maintaining landscaped gardens through regular watering, weeding and pruning

Planting flowers, shrubs and trees in accordance with established garden designs and seasonal requirements

Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and leaf blowers

Inspecting pool and garden areas for maintenance issues and reporting repairs needed to management

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations related to pool operations and landscaping

Keeping detailed records of pool maintenance activities and chemical treatments

Assisting with pest control and disease prevention in garden areas

Maintaining a neat and organised appearance of the pool deck and surrounding garden spaces at all times

What we're looking for

Proven experience in pool maintenance and gardening, preferably within a hospitality or resort setting

Knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment procedures

Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools

Understanding of horticulture, plant care and landscaping techniques

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical fitness and capability to perform labour-intensive tasks in a tropical climate

Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic

Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures

Relevant certifications in pool maintenance or horticulture are advantageous

Communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and staff
