Job summary

Epson (Indonesia) is seeking a Production Operator for our polymer manufacturing site in Tangerang. This entry-level role focuses on operating and monitoring extrusion and molding equipment, handling materials, and maintaining product quality under safe, standard procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a strong work ethic, and are willing to work shifts including nights and weekends. Training is provided to develop mechanical skills and ensure timely production targets are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but training provided.
• Basic understanding of mechanical operations and ability to follow instructions.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor polymer manufacturing machinery (extruders, mixers, molding machines).
• Perform material loading and unloading with correct quantities/types.
• Monitor processes to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct basic quality checks on finished products for defects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per safety regulations and SOPs.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Record production data including batch numbers, quantities, and test results.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team to achieve production targets.
