About the role
We’re looking for a Policy Engagement Manager with the core objective of working with our partners to engage with key stakeholders in the government and the industry to promote the importance of decarbonisation of the steel sector not only towards reducing emissions but also business and economic growth.
This role will engage with policy makers, policy influencers, and the private sector including steel companies, industry associations, labor unions, financial institutions. Using existing research done by many organisations, they will disseminate the urgency of a sound regulatory framework, the business case for decarbonisation and its investment, as well as convene stakeholders for advocating policies and identify sustainable finance mechanisms.
