Role Description
The PMO for the Data & AI Function is responsible for managing the execution of AI and Data Programs, ensuring seamless delivery, consistent reporting, and cross-functional alignment. This role drives program success by overseeing timelines, managing dependencies across domains, maintaining risk registers, and ensuring transparency of progress and impact. The PMO must demonstrate a proactive, go-getter attitude, able to challenge and push for results while building alignment among diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of AI and Data Programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams (AI, data, business) and external vendors or consultants ensuring delivery against strategic goals and timelines.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, and timelines.
- Understand and manage interdependencies across business domains and technical functions.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment between AI leads, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register and issue log, proactively managing and mitigating risks.
- Track and report program status and performance metrics weekly and monthly to stakeholders.
- Drive consistency in program governance, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
- Work closely with AI leads, data scientists, engineers, and business owners to remove roadblocks and ensure delivery.
- Monitor the impact of AI initiatives and communicate progress clearly and effectively.
- Work with the stakeholder to unblock dependencies and drive change management to maximize the impact from AI initiatives
- Continuously improve PMO processes to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
Key Skills
Domain Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12+ Years of work experience including 5+ years of experience in a program management role in a tech or data-driven environment.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders in delivering transformation project
- Demonstrated ability to build schedules, manage risks, and drive accountability across cross function domains and partners
- Preferably have a good understanding of data and AI concepts
Agile/Digital Experience
- Experience working in Agile and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with digital product development, data analytics, and AI/ML delivery processes.
