Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive PMO OPEX Controller to join our Finance team. This role is critical in driving cost efficiency, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting operational decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen who can deep-dive into operational expenses, conduct insightful trend analyses, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Expense (OPEX) Analysis & Monitoring

Track, monitor, and analyze monthly OPEX against budget, forecast, and prior periods.

Investigate significant variances and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Perform in-depth analysis on spending trends by cost center, department, or function.

Identify cost drivers and recommend initiatives to improve cost efficiency.

Support or lead cost optimization projects in collaboration with operational teams.

Develop frameworks, identify task and milestone in collaboration with across departments.

4. Forecasting & Budget Support

Contribute to the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process for OPEX.

Provide forward-looking analysis to inform business planning.

5. Business Reporting

Prepare concise, visual, and impactful reports for senior management and BoD-level presentations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), cost control, or operational finance.

Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools.

Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or multi-business environments is a plus.
