Job description

PLC Engineer

Location: CONSTRUCTION YARD - BATAM
Rotation: 6 weeks on/6 weeks off
Contract duration: 6 Months

We are currently seeking two Automation / PLC Engineers to join our team for the manufacturing, commissioning, and start-up of 34 HVAC control panels. This role involves ensuring the proper design, interconnection, and functionality of these panels in collaboration with other units.

Responsibilities

• Verify that the HVAC control panel design aligns with interconnecting cable specifications.
• Supervise the interconnection of panels with HVAC units and power cabinets.
• Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up procedures, including IFAT with HVAC unit vendors.
• Provide training to the client’s team on the operation and maintenance of the control panels.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Schneider software (Unity Pro XL & Vijeo Designer).
• Experience in commissioning and start-up of control panels.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning, asset management, and reliability practices.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
