• Bachelor's degree (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
• Experience in Plastic Injection Manufacturing & Development (2-4 years)
• Able and fluent in English (Professional Proficiency)
• Able to operate Mechanical Drawing Software (Autodesk/Creo/Solidworks)

Job Description Plastic Component & Tooling Engineer

• Specialist in plastic component and associated tool: specifying, implementing, and qualifying the tool & manufacturing process.
• For new offers, ensure the manufacturability of the plastic component and tool.
• For manufacturing, contribute strongly to the continuous improvement actions for the tool & manufacturing process.
• Launch tools with technical and financial study, then follow up according to the needs, budget, and schedule.
• Continuously monitor execution of projects, from RFQ stage to part approval and payment.
• Define tooling capacity and vendor machine allocation aligned with production forecast.
• Define critical spare parts requirement for runner tooling.
• Define and coordinate the resources involved in the project, retooling, and day-to-day operation.
• Ensure the robustness of our parts and tooling developed.
• Support CS&Q, SCM, Production, Technical, and Procurement teams for tooling activities.
• Select, validate, introduce, and standardize new technologies/processes locally in the plastic components domain.
• Manage asset management in vendor (periodically check physical asset in vendor and asset data in the system).
• Knowledge in Casting, Stamping, Rubber Compression Molding, and Surface Treatment is a plus.
