Job description

Graduate in Agriculture/Agronomy/Agribusiness, with a Master’s in Plantation Management (preferable).

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Proficiency in presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Excel, including generating yearly budgets.

Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Senior Estate Manager or Plantation Manager in a multinational company. Expatriates are welcome to apply.

Job Descriptions:

  • Manage the designated plantation effectively, adhering to good agronomy practices and internal policies, ensuring optimal agricultural conditions, and achieving yield targets, business plans, and budgets.
  • Supervise plantation operations to meet objectives and maintain good agricultural conditions.
  • Cultivate a performance-driven culture among the workforce, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure sufficient labor to carry out scheduled agronomic operations.
  • Oversee timely harvesting and dispatching of crops.
  • Implement plantation activities such as fertilizing, weeding, and other planting programs as scheduled.
  • Enhance control systems to minimize wastages and losses.
  • Properly allocate and utilize labor, vehicles, and equipment to optimize productivity.
  • Coordinate resource planning for labor, fertilization, and civil infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maximize the effectiveness of training programs at estate and company levels.
  • Plan resources efficiently to accommodate seasonal variations.
