Job summary

PT Super Wahana Tehno in Medan, Indonesia, seeks a senior Production Manager to lead Plant 3 operations, ensuring production targets, quality, and team performance while optimizing safety and efficiency.

The role requires extensive experience in oleochemical processing, knowledge of continuous fat splitting, distillation, and process control systems, plus proven leadership in planning, maintenance coordination, and KPI management. Proficiency in English and SAP/ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Process Engineering.
• More than 10 years in oleochemical, edible oil, or related process industry.
• Hands-on experience in fat splitting and fractionation processes.
• Assistant manager level experience for 3 years minimum.
• Strong knowledge of continuous fat splitting, vacuum distillation, heat exchangers, and utilities.
• Familiar with SAP or ERP systems and data analysis.
• Strong English communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate production activities at Plant 3 according to the PPIC schedule.
• Regularly evaluate production quantity and quality for each section.
• Coordinate with PPIC to ensure product tank and availability.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, SCM, and Utilities to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate performance of each section and manage manpower within the production department.
• Distribute the Plant Overhaul plan to relevant departments.
• Conduct risk assessments for each section.
• Evaluate planned process changes to ensure smooth production.
• Control equipment availability to support environmentally friendly production processes.
• Ensure implementation of systems (QMS, EMS, ISO 9001/14001/4500, GMP, FSSC 22000) in each section.
• Provide improvements to customer complaints related to production.
