Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Plant Operator at its Batam site to monitor daily operations, transfer liquid nitrogen from road tankers to on-site storage, and maintain site housekeeping and security. The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include reporting any plant breakdowns or non-conformances to engineers and management and supporting routine maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or high school diploma with experience in an industrial setting.
• Solid understanding of personal and process safety standards in an industrial plant context.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude to handle minor equipment issues and routine plant operations.
• Effective communication and collaboration to work within teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform site housekeeping and ensure clean, safe work areas.
• Transfer liquid nitrogen from road tanker to on-site storage following procedures.
• Log daily plant performance and backup storage levels.
• Maintain site security and assist in routine plant maintenance.
• Report plant breakdowns, product or process non-conformances to engineers and management.
