Job Description - Planning & Control Lead (Contract Based)

We’re looking for a Planning and Control Lead to join our Indonesia team. When you work for us, you get the chance to join nearly 50,000 people all driven by a common purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.

As a Planning and Control Lead, you will be responsible to act as the focal point for project controls on the site and to integrate all project controls activities within the portfolio of projects undergoing delivery at site.

To succeed in this role, you should have minimum of 15 years’ experience in Project Controls within the resources, construction and infrastructure sectors.

About the Job

The role responsibilities include:

  • Act as the focal point for project controls on the site and integrate all project controls activities within the portfolio of projects undergoing delivery at site.
  • Analyse performance of projects and clearly communicate progress, issues, threats, and opportunities based on project controls deliverables and insights.
  • Manage and drive project baseline changes for projects within the supported site project portfolio.
  • Oversee the implementation of project controls processes, systems and toolsets for the supported site project portfolio.
  • Provide informed advice on all aspects of project controls process implementation.
  • Interpret and report upon Earned Value Management metrics and other significant project KPIs.
  • Support the resolution of complex Early Warnings/Compensation Events across multidisciplined project teams.
  • Support the Programme/Project Delivery Manager in the preparation and review of the business planning cycle.
Requirements

The role requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Project Controls within the resources, construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Project Controls Lead role.
  • Proven experience in supervising and mentoring others.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and commonly used business software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
  • Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet client needs.
