Job summary

PT KIDE INTERNATIONAL INDONESIA is seeking an experienced piping supervisor to review mechanical drawings and manage the technical execution of diverse piping systems across data center and large-scale MEp projects.

You will coordinate interfaces among structural, architectural, electrical, fire protection and BMS disciplines, ensure fabrication and installation quality, and oversee testing and commissioning activities in Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing piping drawings and MEP coordination.
• Knowledge of international piping standards (ASME, ASTM, NFPA).
• Familiar with Indonesian welding/NDT requirements.
• Ability to conduct toolbox talks in Bahasa Indonesia.
• Experience with large-scale MEP or data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical piping drawings, P&IDs, equipment schedules, and specifications.
• Manage construction and technical execution of piping systems (chilled water, cooling water, drainage, fuel oil, fire protection).
• Coordinate interfaces between piping works and structural, architectural, electrical, fire protection, BMS and mechanical equipment disciplines.
• Inspect quality of pipe fabrication, welding, grooved joints, flanged connections, pipe supports and equipment connections.
• Organize hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing, chemical cleaning and system restoration activities.
• Verify installation and orientation of valves, strainers, vent/drain points, instrument connections and access for maintenance.
• Assist with installation, alignment, piping connections and commissioning of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, tanks and other mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with local Indonesian suppliers of pipes, valves, insulation materials, welding contractors and testing agencies.
• Maintain site quality records, pressure test packages, inspection requests, material certificates and as-built documentation.

Job description

Review mechanical piping drawings, P&IDs, equipment schedules, and technical specifications to confirm system parameters, construction scope, and discipline interfaces.

Manage the construction and technical execution of chilled water, cooling water, make-up water, drainage, condensate, fuel oil, fire protection, and other process piping systems.

Review and verify piping Shop Drawings, coordinated MEP drawings, pipe spool drawings, pipe support drawings, equipment interface drawings, and As-Built Drawings.

Coordinate construction interfaces and space requirements between piping works and structural, architectural, electrical, fire protection, BMS, and mechanical equipment disciplines.

Inspect the quality of pipe fabrication, welding, grooved joints, flanged connections, pipe supports, pipe slopes, and equipment connections.

Organize hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, pipeline flushing, drainage, chemical cleaning, and system restoration activities.

Verify the installation and orientation of valves, strainers, vent points, drain points, instrument connections, and equipment maintenance access.

Assist with the installation, alignment, piping connections, and commissioning of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, thermal storage tanks, and other mechanical equipment.

Coordinate with local Indonesian suppliers of pipes, valves, insulation materials, welding contractors, and testing agencies.

Maintain site quality records, pressure test packages, inspection requests, material certificates, and as-built documentation.

Familiar with local Indonesian suppliers of pipes, valves, fittings, insulation materials, and specialized construction contractors.

Knowledge of SNI standards and applicable international piping standards, including ASME, ASTM, and NFPA.

Familiar with Indonesian requirements for welding personnel, non-destructive testing (NDT), pressure testing, and coordination of specialized works.

Able to conduct toolbox meetings and coordinate site activities effectively in Bahasa Indonesia.

Proficient in AutoCAD, multidisciplinary piping coordination, and quantity surveying.

Previous experience with data center cooling systems, industrial cooling water systems, or large-scale MEP projects is preferred.
