Job Description

CHIS School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in Physics based on the Pearson Edexcel International Curriculum, preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. The candidate must be fluent in English and capable of fostering an engaging, student-centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons in accordance with the Pearson curriculum standards for IGCSE and A-Level.

Use a variety of teaching strategies and modern technologies to support differentiated learning and academic excellence.

Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records in line with school and examination board expectations.

Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including IGCSE and A-Level exams.

Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry and critical thinking.

Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school events.

Participate in school-wide professional development, parent meetings, and extracurricular activities as needed.

Stay updated on the latest developments in Physics education and integrate best practices into the teaching process.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics or a related field. Teaching qualification/certification is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.

Familiarity with the Pearson Edexcel curriculum and its assessment standards.

Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
