Job summary

PT. Daewoong Pharmaceutical Indonesia (DPI) is seeking an Engineering Staff to support maintenance and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing systems at the Cikarang facility.

You will collaborate across departments to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant operations. The role requires a mechanical/electrical engineering background, 1–2 years in pharma, and familiarity with HVAC, purified water, and GMP facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree on Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of pharmaceutical experience.
• Familiarity with automation systems, utilities (HVAC, purified water, compressed air), and facility engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings and create technical drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• High integrity and compliance mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
• Willing to be based in Cikarang.
• Preferred: Hands-on with GMP facilities and ISO BPOM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, implementing, and updating the Engineering Maintenance Master Plan and preventive maintenance programs per GMP.
• Support routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment, facility utilities, GMP building, lab, and warehouse equipment.
• Apply Right-First-Time (RFT) principles across engineering tasks and documentation.
• Prepare and review SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance logs.
• Review equipment deviation investigations, manage CAPA, change controls, and technical docs.
• Monitor spare parts availability and update accordingly.
• Follow up on ongoing or future engineering projects.
• Participate in the company's HSE system and ISO activities.
• Review monthly utility energy usage.
• Provide hands-on training on equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering Manager.
