People Development & Performance Management Specialist

In this position you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and development of our talented workforce. As a key member of our People Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing impactful people strategies that align with the company's overall objectives:
What you'll be doing
1. Talent Development & Training:
- Assess Training Needs:Identify skill gaps through assessments, feedback, performance reviews, and consultations with department heads.
- Develop & Implement Training Programs:Design and deliver training programs and workshops that align with organizational goals. Programs may include leadership development, soft skills training, and technical skills enhancement.
- Track Progress & Effectiveness:Measure the success of training initiatives and adjust programs as needed to ensure employee development goals are met.
- Onboarding Programs:Develop and manage onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth transitions into the organization.
2.Performance Management:
- Oversee Performance Review Systems:Manage and enhance performance management systems (such as annual reviews, 360-degree feedback, etc.) to assess employees' contributions, achievements, and growth.
- Provide Coaching & Feedback:Offer support to managers in giving constructive feedback to employees and help employees with personal development plans.
- Identify High Performers & Potential Leaders:Identify key talent and assist in planning their career development and succession within the company.
- Set Performance Metrics & KPIs:Work with leaders to establish clear, measurable performance goals for employees that align with business objectives.
- Monitor Employee Performance:Ensure the performance evaluations are consistent, objective, and in line with company goals.
3.Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Employee Motivation & Engagement:Develop initiatives to keep employees engaged and motivated, aligning with both their personal career goals and the company’s objectives.
- Address Performance Issues:Identify and help resolve performance-related issues, provide solutions, and develop corrective action plans when necessary.
- Retention Strategies:Collaborate with HR to create strategies for retaining top performers, including career growth opportunities, compensation reviews, and recognition programs.
4.Succession Planning:
- Career Development:Assist employees with career progression by identifying key talent and preparing them for future roles within the organization.
- Leadership Development:Support the development of leadership pipelines by identifying emerging leaders and providing training or mentorship opportunities.
- Succession Plans:Work with leadership teams to ensure the organization has effective succession plans in place for critical roles.
5.Data & Reporting:
- Track Training & Performance Data:Monitor key metrics related to employee development, training effectiveness, and overall performance.
- Generate Reports:Provide regular reports to senior management on training, performance reviews, employee growth, and talent gaps.
- Utilize Analytics for Improvement:Use HR analytics to drive decisions, such as identifying trends in employee performance or learning needs.
What we're looking for
- Education:A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree is often preferred).
- Experience:3–5 years of experience in talent development, performance management, or related fields.
- Strong Communication Skills:Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Coaching & Mentoring Skills:Provide one-on-one coaching and development for employees and managers.
- Analytical Skills:Strong ability to analyze performance data and provide actionable insights.
Project Management Skills:Ability to manage multiple development initiatives simultaneously.
