Job description

This position is responsible for driving the end-to-end hiring process, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring the smooth implementation of HR policies and procedures. The People & Culture Officer will also handle HRIS administration, manage employee relations, and contribute to performance management processes, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. People Operations & Administration: Oversee and manage daily HR operations and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with company policies.
  2. Recruitment & Hiring: Lead the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  3. Training & Development: Conduct and support training initiatives to enhance employee skills and career development.
  4. HRIS Administration: Maintain and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
  5. Employee Relations: Address and manage employee grievances and complaints, providing support and resolution in alignment with company policies.
  6. Policy Implementation: Ensure the effective implementation and adherence to HR procedures and policies across the organization.
  7. Performance Management: Assist in the administration of performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  8. Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  9. Reporting: Prepare and present HR reports as required, providing insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar HR role.
  3. Strong critical and creative thinking abilities.
  4. High integrity and a trustworthy nature.
  5. Agile, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  7. Proficiency in office administration and HRIS software.
