• Experience with penetration testing tools and frameworks such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Penetration Tester role based in Jakarta. The Penetration Tester will plan, execute, and document security assessments on applications, networks, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and validate controls. Daily activities include developing test plans, performing manual and automated penetration tests, analyzing results, and preparing clear reports with actionable remediation recommendations. The role involves collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to prioritize findings, support remediation efforts, and help improve secure design and coding practices. The Penetration Tester will also contribute to enhancing testing methodologies, staying current with emerging threats and tools, and supporting compliance and audit-related security testing.

Qualifications

• 3 years as Penetration Test or Red Team IT Security
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Management and Test Strategy for planning and organizing penetration test engagements.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Test Execution and Testing for performing hands-on security assessments and validating controls.
• Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance skills to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and repeatability of security testing processes.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exposures (e.g., OWASP Top 10), secure coding principles, and network and application security fundamentals.
• Candidates should possess experience with penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux, or equivalent).
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Jakarta, manage multiple assessments, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GPEN) and experience in enterprise environments or regulated industries are beneficial.
