Job description

Position Summary:

Milacronis looking for aPayroll Managerto join our team inBatavia, OH. As the Payroll Manager, you will oversee all aspects of payroll processing for ourGlobalmanufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll for all employees, compliance with federal and state regulations, and the implementation of best practices inglobalpayroll management.

Work You'll Do:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a diverse workforce, including hourly and salaried employeesacross the globe.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings and reporting.

  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Lead payroll-related projects, as necessary.

  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data management, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.

  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports, providing insights to management regarding labor costs and trends.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.

  • Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of payroll accounts.

  • Stay updated on payroll legislation and best practices, recommending changes as necessary.

  • Train and mentor payroll staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements

  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
