Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Supervisor

Our client, the sixth-largest polyester (PET) film producer globally, operates manufacturing and distribution facilities across India, Thailand, Turkey, the U.S.A., Indonesia, China, and the Netherlands, with their Indonesian plant located in Cikande.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement competitive compensation structures, including salary frameworks, benchmarking, and performance-based incentive programs.
  2. Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided perks, ensuring optimal value and employee satisfaction.
  3. Conduct job evaluations and participate in salary surveys to ensure equitable, fair, and market-aligned compensation practices across the organization.
  4. Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies related to compensation and benefits.
  5. Provide expert support on payroll matters, including salary adjustments, annual merit increases, bonuses, and performance-linked compensation.
  6. Analyze compensation and benefits data to assess effectiveness, manage costs, and enhance employee engagement and retention.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and compensation, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  8. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to align compensation and benefits strategies with broader business goals and talent management objectives.
  9. Stay informed on industry trends, market practices, and regulatory updates to continuously improve programs and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Supervisor, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in HR practices, including the full compensation cycle management (e.g., salary reviews, bonus planning, and incentive structures).
  3. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with job evaluation and job analysis methodologies.
  4. Prior exposure to organizational psychology and conducting or interpreting labour market surveys.
  5. Strong knowledge of current labour laws and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance in all compensation and benefits practices.
  6. Familiarity with a wide range of incentive schemes and employee benefits, including both monetary and non-monetary programs.
  7. Extensive experience working with HRIS systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  8. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and recommendations.
  9. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written); fluency preferred.
