Ghost restaurant in Berawa, Bali is looking for CHEF DE PARTIE PASTRY to join our team. Full-time position available.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in developing menus and new items to inspire and satisfy our customers.
- Provide suggestions regarding recipes, techniques, and other culinary ideas.
- Document all food production using standard recipes.
- Give feedback on the functionality and appeal of dishes in their department.
- Ensure all food produced meets or exceeds set standards.
- Prepare food according to standard recipes.
- Maintain portion control, minimize wastage, and adhere to par levels.
- Reduce energy waste in the kitchen.
- Minimize maintenance costs by respecting equipment and following guidelines.
- Ensure productivity within their department.
Requirements:
- Passion for wood-fired cooking with a strong understanding of techniques.
- Proven leadership experience in a professional kitchen, especially in wood-fired cuisine.
- Creativity and vision for culinary excellence and menu innovation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead by example.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a restaurant.
- Immediate start required.
