Job summary

The RRT will manage ventilator settings, perform arterial blood gas analysis, assist with bronchoscopy, and provide emergency respiratory support as part of a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory therapy program leading to RRT eligibility.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP as required by facility policy.
• Three years of experience in respiratory therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages ventilator settings with clinician direction.
• Performs arterial blood gas analysis and diagnostic testing.
• Assists with rapid response and code blue interventions.
• Educates patients and staff on treatments and equipment.
