Part-Time Mandarin / English Teacher (On-site in Green Lake City)

We are looking for part-time Mandarin / English Teacher to teach on-site in our language course, located in Green Lake City, Tangerang. Available to teach at 15.00 - 19.00 on Weekdays.

General Requirements :

1. Educational Qualifications & Certification :

· Bachelor's degree in Linguistics/ Languages, or Education/ Teaching/ Training

· Master's degree or higher for advanced teaching positions or universities

· Teaching certification or license in the relevant state or country (preferred)

· TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification for teaching English as a second language (preferred)

2. Experience:

· At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Experience teaching at the appropriate grade level (elementary, middle, high school, or college).

3. Required Skills :

· Strong command of the Mandarin / English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Classroom management and organizational skills.

· Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.

· Tech-savvy; Familiarity with educational technology and multimedia resources.

4. Soft Skills :

· Good performance and pleasant personality

· Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching

· Willing to be positioned at our branch in Green Lake City, Tangerang

Responsibilities & Job Description :

As an English / Mandarin teacher, you will be responsible for educating students in the English / Mandarin language and literature. Your duties will include preparing lesson plans, assessing students' progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will work with students to develop their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and help them gain a deeper appreciation for literature and language arts.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

2. Deliver lessons using a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and multimedia resources

3. Assess students' progress through assignments, tests, quizzes, and projects

4. Provide constructive feedback and grades to students on their performance

5. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

6. Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to ensure a conducive learning environment

7. Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential

8. Engage in training sessions and workshop provided by the language course to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.

9. Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices and improve teaching methods.

10. Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and other required documentation

11. Prepare and submit required reports, such as progress reports and end-of-term evaluations
