Job summary

JAPFA invites applicants for a Warehouse Operator role to safely operate electric and manual pallet movers, load and unload deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will follow 5S principles and support daily stock counts in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or vocational training, has experience with RM-3 pallet movers, and holds a heavy equipment license or pallet mover certification (SIO) preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating electric ride-on pallet jacks (RM-3) in manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Valid heavy equipment operator license or pallet mover certification (SIO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate electric and manual pallet movers (RM-3) to transport, stack, and retrieve materials within warehouse/production areas.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and organize inventory per guidelines.
• Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections and report malfunctions.
• Ensure inventory movements documented per warehouse management system guidelines.
• Assist in periodic physical inventory counts and stock audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace following 5S principles.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate electric and manual pallet movers (RM-3) to transport, stack, and retrieve materials and goods within the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and organize inventory in designated storage locations according to company guidelines.
• Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections on assigned equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs immediately.
• Ensure all inventory movements are accurately documented and aligned with warehouse management system guidelines.
• Assist in periodic physical inventory counts and stock audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company safety regulations and 5S principles.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent vocational degree.
• Proven experience operating electric pallet movers or ride-on pallet jacks (RM-3 classification preferred) within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Possession of a valid heavy equipment operator license or specific pallet mover certification (SIO) is highly preferred.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy loads and work in active warehouse environments.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to accurately read labels, inventory sheets, and shipping documents.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and operational discipline.
