Job summary

JAPFA seeks a Warehouse Pallet Mover/Operator to handle material movement, loading, and stocking across multiple sites. You will operate pallet movers and forklifts, stage materials for production, and ensure accurate inventory through labels and batch codes. A focus on safety and efficiency is essential.

Role requires lifting heavy loads, working in varied temperature zones, and coordinating with warehouse and production teams to maintain smooth material flow and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pallet moving or forklift operations in manufacturing/warehousing.
• Valid heavy equipment operator license (SIO) for pallet movers/forklifts.
• Good physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work across warehouse zones.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and defensive driving for industrial vehicles.
• Basic reading/writing/mathematics for inventory tracking and documentation.
• Disciplined, detail-oriented team player.

Responsibilities

• Verify inventory counts, labels, and batch codes against orders and documents.
• Maintain 5S and GMP standards to keep a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet movers, ride-on pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Move, stack, and stage raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods to designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and shipping containers according to established schedules and safety protocols.
• Perform daily pre-operational safety inspections on assigned equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
• Verify inventory counts, product labels, and batch codes against delivery orders and warehouse documents to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse by adhering to 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and production teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and minimize downtime.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pallet Mover Driver, Forklift Operator, or in a similar material handling role within a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
• Must possess a valid heavy equipment operator license/certification (SIO - Surat Izin Operasional) applicable for pallet movers/forklifts.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads and work in various warehouse temperature zones.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations, hazards, and defensive driving techniques for industrial vehicles.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
• A disciplined, detail-oriented, and cooperative team player.
