A leading company in the manufacturing industry seeks to hire a painter responsible for applying finishes to machining parts. Candidates should possess knowledge about painting workmanship and quality assurance. This role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work within a moderate noise environment.
JOB SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, responsible to apply paint, stain, and other finishes for machining part with required method.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and monitor the target achievement closely in order to fix
repetitive and recognized problems immediately.
• Able to apply paint to machining part.
• Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas.
• Verify that only accurate, current, and authorized documentation is available on the line.
• Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Track the process and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.
• Adhere to all safety rules, use, and ensure that workers use the required protective equipment.
• Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
• For S02 grade may have more/higher target to achieve.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Painting Line Leader and Special Process Production Supervisor
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge about basic of painting, painting workmanship, painting quality, defect, and trouble shooting
• Knowledge about quality/assurance and visual inspection in process testing for chemical process is preferable
• Knowledge about FOD
• Other knowledge as required by Company Competency Matrix of this position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Fresh graduate of High School Diploma or Equivalent required, or
• 6 months to 1 year experience
• Or a combination of education, experience and/or training
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job related certifications
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the
essential functions of this job. Individual’s primary workstation is located on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the
work environment is moderate.
