Job summary

Multi Bintang Indonesia, part of The HEINEKEN Company, is seeking a Packaging Technician based in Tangerang. You will operate and maintain packaging machinery to ensure safe, efficient packaging that meets quality standards. This role reports to the Packaging Team Leader in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

We value hands-on, detail-oriented individuals who can drive improvements through AM/5S and participate in shift-based operations at the Tangerang Brewery.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronic, or Mechanical.
• Beer/beverage industry experience preferred.
• English proficiency required (oral and written).
• Willing to work in shifts and be placed at Tangerang Brewery.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the equipment and works in line with the defined and implemented safety and food safety standards.
• Executes process and product control on all machines.
• Takes initiatives and is actively involved in optimizing workplace performance via AM/5S teams and activities.
• Ensures the Packaging process operates in an efficient and effective manner according to the production plan and specification in standard and nonstandard conditions.
• Executes basic maintenance tasks according to standards and is actively involved in improvement activities.

Job Purpose

As a Packaging Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our packaging operations run efficiently and meet the highest standards of safety and product quality. You’ll be responsible for performing process and product control on the machine, driving initiatives to improve workplace performance, and ensuring smooth and reliable packaging processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintains the equipment and works in line with the defined and implemented safety and food safety standards.
• Executes process and product control on all machines.
• Takes initiatives and is actively involved in optimizing workplace performance via AM/5S teams and activities.
• Ensures the Packaging process operates in an efficient and effective manner according to the production plan and specification in standard and nonstandard conditions.
• Executes basic maintenance tasks according to standards and is actively involved in improvement activities.

Candidate Criteria

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronic, or Mechanical.
• Preferably in beverage/maintenance operation shop floor experience.
• Conversant in English both oral and written.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Willing to be placed in Tangerang Brewery.
