Job summary

Larsen & Toubro's Engineer - Plant & Machinery (P&M) at the project site is responsible for the daily operation, upkeep, and performance monitoring of construction plant and machinery, ensuring equipment readiness and adherence to maintenance schedules to support uninterrupted project execution.

This site role supervises operation and maintenance of all construction equipment, driving high availability and coordinating with site teams and vendors to optimize utilization while upholding OEM

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and checklists with site teams and vendors.
• Monitor fuel use, equipment utilization and downtime; take corrective actions.
• Ensure OEM guidelines, safety protocols and regulations during handling and operations.
• Support mobilization/demobilization of equipment with documentation.

The role ensures equipment readiness, adherence to maintenance schedules, compliance with safety standards, and optimal utilization of machinery to support uninterrupted project execution.Supervise the operation and maintenance of all construction equipment and machinery at the site, ensuring high availability and performance.

• ? Monitor fuel consumption, equipment utilization, and downtime; take corrective actions to minimize losses.
• ? Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, safety protocols, and statutory regulations during equipment handling and operations.Support in the mobilization and demobilization of equipment at the site, maintaining proper documentation.
