Overseas Business Development Coordinator

KOTRA (Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Overseas Business Development Coordinator. This role supports Korean companies that do not have local branches by acting as their overseas representative. You will be responsible for export support activities including market research, buyer discovery, and facilitating local business meetings.

Job Description:

This position will conduct various marketing activities on behalf of Korean SMEs trying to penetrate the Indonesian Market. Detailed expected activities are:

  • Market research and analysis to illustrate the Indonesian market to Korean clients.
  • Finding sales opportunities for Korean clients and bridging Indonesian buyers and Korean clients.
  • Supporting negotiation and communication between Korean clients and buyers to make a deal ultimately.

You may cover various products, which requires fast learning skills and network-establishing skills with new Indonesian buyers in various fields.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent and support 7–8 Korean companies in overseas market development
  • Identify potential buyers, distributors, or partners in the local market
  • Conduct market research and report key trends and opportunities
  • Arrange and support B2B meetings between Korean companies and local clients
  • Provide ongoing communication and coordination between Korean clients and local stakeholders
  • Prepare business reports, meeting summaries, and follow-up documentation
  • Support logistics or administrative tasks related to promotional events or trade missions

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Korean proficiency is a plus)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple clients
  • Familiarity with market research methods, data collection, and reporting
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multicultural team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM or trade platforms a plus
