Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager in Indonesia to lead cost estimation and contract administration on large-scale oil and gas construction projects. The role requires a bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related field and extensive experience in project management, budgeting, and contract law, with familiarity in EPC and FIDIC contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or related fields.
• 10 years experience in project management, cost estimating, or contract law is preferred.
• Experience in Quantity Surveying - Typically, 3 years in the field, with a focus on large-scale oil and gas projects.
• Relevant Industry Experience - Background in the construction, engineering, or oil and gas sectors is highly desirable.
• Cost Management Experience - Proven track record in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management in major construction or engineering projects.
• Experience with the specific requirements and challenges of oil and gas construction projects, including offshore rigs, pipelines, refineries, and infrastructure developments.
• Experience with various forms of contracts (e.g., EPC, FIDIC, or other industry-specific contracts).
• Experience with industry-standard software such as CostX, Procore, MS Project, and Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
