Job summary

RGE is seeking a plant operator to manage the biodiesel master control system, ensuring production adheres to company standards and that reports are produced on time.

You will record data, generate system reports, and support safe, daily operations while handling loading of products and strict safety procedures on a shift basis.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in chemical and mechanical engineering.
• Relevant working experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willing to work with shift work schedule.

• Record data and generate timely system reports.
• Assist in manufacturing and load FAME products with proper documentation.
• Follow company safety, operational and quality procedures at all times.
• Assist in load out and receiving, including preparing trucks for shipment.
• Monitor operating equipment (pumps, valves, temperature/pressure readings, fans, chemical treatment systems, etc.).
• General plant upkeep, including custodial duties.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Operate the biodiesel master control system to ensure timely biodiesel production activities as per company standards, including main master control, process production system, along with recording data and generating system reports on a timely basis.

In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

• Assist in the manufacture and load FAME products and properly work documents are completed
• Follow company standard workplace safety, operational, and quality procedures at all times.
• Assist in load out and receiving functions, which include preparing trucks for shipment and loading products.
• Monitor operating equipment (pumps, valves, pressure/temperature readings, fans and chemical treatment systems, etc.).
• General plant upkeep, including custodial duties.
• Other relevant duties as per assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's in chemical and mechanical engineering.
• Relevant working experience in a similar role will be an advantage, but not mandatory
