Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking an entry-level Equipment Operator in Indonesia for hands-on learning in oil well operations. You will assist with rigging-up/down, operate various service equipment, and communicate with team members while following safety and environmental guidelines. A high school diploma is required, and basic math, reading and writing skills are essential for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, learns basic oil well operations including drilling fluids and solids control.
• Assist in rigging-up and rigging-down of service equipment and operation of equipment such as shale shakers, centrifuges, and handling systems.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and perform basic calculations.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Promote safety and environmental awareness and comply with HSE procedures.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, learns basic oil well operations including but not limited to drilling fluids and solids control operations.
• Assist in the rigging-up and rigging-down of service equipment, and in the operation of some or all of the following equipment: shale shakers and screen changes, centrifuges, cuttings handling and slurrification systems, and vacuum and pressure washing systems.
• This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with others, perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• This position promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process, promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, and ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
