Job summary

Halliburton in Indonesia seeks an entry-level team member to learn basic oil well operations under supervision, including drilling fluids and solids control, with opportunities to work on rigging-up and rigging-down of service equipment.

You will develop safety awareness, follow HSE procedures, and build foundational skills in measurement, communication and basic computer use in a global energy leader.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, learns basic oil well operations including but not limited to drilling fluids and must have a solids control operations.
• Assist in the rigging-up and rigging-down of service equipment, and in the operation of some or all of the following equipment: shale shakers and screen changes, centrifuges, cuttings handling and slurrification systems, and vacuum and pressure washing systems.
• This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with others, perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• This position promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process, promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, and ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
