Position Summary

An operational supervisor who has sufficient mastery of the production process/assembly and understands the end to end processes in the warehouse. responsible for production, packaging and all warehouse operations.

An added bonus that would be highly advantageous would be if the successful candidate can also demonstrate experience in exporting and importing.

Responsibilities
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with [i-Scala, SAP ] (if applicable).
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of quality control procedures.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting (preferred).
  • Experience with packaging machinery and equipment operation (e.g., shrink wrappers, label applicators, case sealers).
  • Understanding of packaging materials and their proper selection for different products.
  • Working knowledge of quality control procedures for packaging operations.
  • Experience with inventory management of packaging supplies (preferred).
Soft Skills
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels, as well as with senior management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, schedule, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of all Safety policies, regulations, procedures and instructions.
  • Good process analysis skills.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Thorough knowledge of Lean concept / thinking.
  • Familiarity with Direct Material, Direct Labor, and machine utilization.
  • Project management experience (preferred).
  • Experience with [Specific software : Statistic, plant layout ] (optional).
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in a supervisory role within operations.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational goals and objectives
  • Fluency in English both oral and written.
  • Proven track record of achieving packaging department goals and objectives, ensuring efficient and timely product packaging that meets quality standards
