A leading mining company is seeking a Supervisor for Process Operations. The role involves supervising plant production, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring high operations standards. Candidates should have a minimum degree and extensive experience in mineral processing and operations, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety.
· Supervise, control and monitor plant production volume to meet schedules and delivery dates;
· Coordinate with maintenance plans for plant equipment to ensure production requirements are met;
· Prepare work schedules and ensure that the process equipment is run to give the best economic return between equipment longevity and throughput;
· Prepare and maintain production reports;
· Coordinate activities with technical, metallurgical, maintenance, set and maintain high operations standards;
· Ensure implementation of job and safety training programs.
· Assure that applicable environmental regulations and compliance programs are implemented.
· Initiate projects and direct activities leading to continuous improvement of safety and production.
What skills and experience do you need?
· Minimum Tertiary Degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years’ experience in the mining and mineral processing industry are necessary;
· Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Supervisor Process Operations or equivalent experience in process plant operations/ fixed plant;
· Knowledge of, and experience in, the metallurgical principles and processing strategies related to gold and copper concentrate production;
· Has Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.Certifications;
· Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards;
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate
