A leading mining company in Indonesia is seeking an Operations Readiness Senior Engineer specializing in Mechanical Maintenance. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance operations, ensure optimal performance of critical equipment, and develop preventive maintenance programs. With a requirement of 8-10 years experience in mechanical engineering, this role demands strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsible to oversee and manage the maintenance operations of key mechanical assets in the process plant. The role will focus on ensuring optimal performance and availability of equipment including the primary crusher, overland conveyor, pebble crushing circuit, vibrating screens, SAG mill, ball mill, large slurry pumps, cyclones, as well as associated lubrication and hydraulic systems.
Lead and manage maintenance activities for mechanical equipment, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Supervise troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures.
Manage shutdown planning and execution in collaboration with operations and other disciplines.
Oversee maintenance of critical systems such as lubrication and hydraulic circuits.
Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for technical support and spare parts.
Ensure asset integrity and adherence to mechanical design standards.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, environmental standards, and statutory requirements.
