Qualification
- Bachelor degree or HND/HNC or equivalent in Engineering preferred, or discipline-specific qualification (Electrical, Mechanical Rotating, Mechanical Static, and Instrumentation).
- The ideal candidate applies professional production, engineering, construction, project management, operational management, and project delivery principles, practices, and techniques to ensure Operational Readiness.
- Minimum of 15 years in Upstream Offshore Oil and Gas Facilities, specifically in production, maintenance, and asset integrity management, quality, and technical assurance systems.
- Seasoned operations professional with at least 10 years on-site experience in production/maintenance (OIM), project execution, field start-ups, and commissioning.
- Extensive involvement in Project/Facilities Engineering or Operations work.
- Experience in implementing OR&A programs for an oil & gas Operator.
- Experience in developing operations & technical integrity related documents/manuals/procedures/guidelines.
- Knowledge and experience in building CMMS, RBI, and production systems.
Responsibilities
- Operations Readiness & Assurance specific tasks, including ensuring timely completion of all operational deliverables and overseeing operational readiness during project phases.
- Champion operability studies during design, pre-start-up, and conduct operational reviews post-start-up.
- Participate in value assurance reviews and audits.
- Develop operational documentation, procedures, asset register, and equipment hierarchy.
- Develop PM tasks based on RCM and upload into CMMS.
- Identify and initiate purchase of tools and spare parts, and package special and commissioning tools for handover.
- Identify AIMS requirements, develop performance standards, and input into CMMS.
- Set up and populate CRA database, Operator Training Simulator, and develop Facility Status Monitoring system.
- Develop plant information systems and implement Operations Management systems & processes.
- Develop offshore staff competency matrix and ensure compliance with minimum competency and certification requirements.
- Ensure project documentation is developed and available for handover.
- Develop and update Production Ramp Plan.
- Ensure software for DCS, SIS, and other systems are available with backups.
- Establish service/support contracts, procure chemicals and consumables, and participate in FATs, SATs, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Contribute to maintenance planning and operational readiness.
