Position Overview

Operation Manager – Meratus Foundation

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operation Manager to support the successful execution of foundation activities, especially in obtaining and managing event permits across various regions in Indonesia. This role also involves supporting basic financial functions such as budget planning and monitoring to ensure each event is executed effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands government licensing processes, and has experience in managing budgets and operational resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee event licensing processes in multiple regional locations.
  • Coordinate with local authorities such as government agencies, police departments, and venue owners to secure necessary permits.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for event licensing, including crowd permits, venue approvals, and other legal requirements.
  • Ensure all events comply with legal, safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Plan and monitor event budgets to ensure cost efficiency and proper allocation of resources.
  • Provide financial estimations for permits, logistics, and operational needs.
  • Evaluate operational execution and recommend process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare regular reports on licensing status, financial usage, and operational challenges to the management team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align timelines, logistics, and resource needs for smooth event execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally involving event permitting and field coordination.
  • Good understanding of licensing procedures and regulatory requirements in Indonesia.
  • Experience or basic knowledge in finance functions, especially related to budget planning and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to event or project sites as needed.
