Job summary

Intrepid Asia is seeking an Operations Intern to support warehouse activities, inventory flow, and fulfilment across our SEA ecommerce operations. You will help track returns, monitor delivery issues, and contribute to daily operations while learning how multi‑warehouse and omni‑channel fulfilment work in a real business setting.

The role requires at least 6 months’ experience in warehouse operations, solid MS Office skills (Excel & Outlook), and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast paced

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor returns and failed delivery orders across platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop).
• Manage daily operations tasks to support warehouse activities and fulfilment.
• Monitor timelines for claims submissions and track claim statuses.
• Maintain daily/weekly trackers for return orders, outstanding returns, and claims.
• Support data analysis on return rate, failure rate, and loss trends.
• Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.

From stock accuracy to timely dispatch, the team plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless end-to-end eCommerce experience. With a strong focus on process, coordination,

and control, Operations keeps our promises to customers and clients every single day.

As an Operation Intern, you will take charge of

Return and Failed Delivery Monitoring

• Track and monitor all customer return and failed delivery orders across platforms (e.g.,
• Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop)
• Ensure all return parcels are received at the warehouse within the expected SLA
• Flag any delays or discrepancies in return movement
• Liaise closely with the warehouse team to confirm receipt of returned items

Operations Day-to-Day Tasks

• Act on Operations daily basic deliverables

Claims Management

• Monitor timelines for claims submission (lost or damaged return items)
• Remind Operations Executives to submit claims within platform deadlines
• Track claim statuses (submitted, approved, rejected)
• Maintain proper documentation for all claims

Reporting Data ; Data Tracking

• Maintain daily and weekly trackers for return order status, outstanding returns, and
• claims raised versus pending
• Support analysis on return rate, failure rate, and loss trends

Process Improvement Support

• Identify recurring issues in returns such as delays, damages, or missing items
• Highlight operational gaps and propose improvements
• Support ad-hoc operational projects as needed

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• With at least 6 months’ experience in warehouse operations
• Knowledgeable in Warehouse, ecommerce and logistics.
• Must be able to work as part of the team in a fast paced and pressured environment
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, Excel & Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with an analytical mind
• Strong time management skills.

You don't have to manage everything in Excel, we run a lot of processes on our advanced inhouse systems and automate where we can. Many of our warehouses are fully API integrated. Of course, being precise and good with numbers will help in any system.
