Job description

As an integrated vegetable seed company, PT East West Seed Indonesia (EWINDO) needs its agile team to focus on providing reliable products for the customers, engaging with end-consumers and catching up with digitalization.

The Operational Excellence Assistant Manager is a part of the Seed Operation division. The scope of Seed Operation division captures from maintaining sustainable production, strong partnership with growers, reliable product through proper quality assurance, until well-organized supply chain management. The main function of Seed Operation is to ensure seed availability in the right quality, time and quantity.

The Operational Excellence Assistant Manager will lead the teams and processes that drive service, savings and overall performance improvement in all operational areas and channels. He/she will report directly to the Seed Operation Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop continuous improvement in strategic planning and translate it into tactical practice
• Enhance the implementation of 5S and Kaizen, reinforcing lean operations in the operations of seed production, plant and supply chain
• Ensure the change management is materialized in order to establish sustained and continuous improvement processes
• Establish the processes standard to reduce results variability
• Establish safety improvement in the whole Seed Operation process

Candidate Profile:

• Strong experience in improving organization competencies in gaining better cost efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Strong leadership skills in order to manage inter-department projects
• Technology savvy to be aligned with company vision in digital transformation
• Possess operational excellence certification (e.g., Six Sigma, OEP, etc.)
• Experience in supply chain improvement is a plus

Requirements:

• Experienced in the manufacturing process for more than 8 (eight) years. (having supply chain and agriculture experience is a plus)
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related major from a reputable university and/or master's degree (with operational excellence certification is a plus)
• Expert in the implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Operations and safety
• Experienced in technology improvement projects
• Advance in Ms. Excel is an advantage
• Growth mindset
• Fluent in English
• Ready to work at Purwakarta
