Operation Supervisor (PALU)

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field.

Required skill(s): Minimum 2 years of experience in Shipping/Forwarding/Logistics Operation as an Operation Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee logistics operations and ensure they run smoothly.
2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of services.
3. Maintain safety and quality standards in operations.
4. Manage and train team members.

Additionally, Meratus owns and operates multipurpose vessels capable of carrying project cargo and construction cargo that require bigger lifting capacity as well as long unobstructed cargo hold. All of Meratus’ vessels are Indonesian flagged and capable of extended trading areas in South East Asia, suitable for shipping construction projects and project logistics within Indonesia as well as international trading between ASEAN countries.

For logistics and freight forwarding, covering domestic and international shipments, this service is provided by the affiliated company: MIF.

Coal transport and logistics services, including transhipment operations of offshore floating cranes together with tug and barge owning-and-operating business, are run by an affiliated company, Meratus Advance Maritim (MDM).

MDM operates several sets of powerful and modern tugs and jumbo, 394' feet barges, guaranteeing a loading rate of 18,000 mtpd with offshore floating cranes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, freight & delivery services industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Willingness to work outside usual hours when required (e.g., weekends, evenings, public holidays).
