Role Overview
The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the training center, ensuring smooth daily activities, program implementation, and high-quality delivery of Japanese language and vocational training. This role acts as the main liaison between the training center and its Japanese partners, guaranteeing compliance with labor and training regulations while driving continuous improvement in operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Manage and supervise daily operations of the LPK, including program planning, staff management, and administration.
- Develop and improve SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively and strategically.
- Training & Program Delivery
- Ensure training programs are implemented according to the curriculum, organizational goals, and quality standards.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of teaching and administrative staff.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and Japan–Indonesia trainee placement requirements.
- Prepare reports and performance reviews with recommendations for improvements.
- Support institutional accreditation, audits, and collaborative projects.
- Partnership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate and maintain strong communication with Japanese partners (accepting organizations, sending organizations, Japanese companies).
Job Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Japanese Studies, Education, or related fields.
- Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an operational management role at an LPK (Sending Organization).
- Proven track record in managing teams and overseeing institutional operations.
- Industry Expertise
- Strong understanding of Japanese trainee systems (Technical Intern Training Program, Specified Skilled Worker) and related processes.
- Knowledgeable about Indonesian labor, training, and vocational education regulations.
- Language
- Holder of JLPT N2 or N1 certification.
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese (spoken and written).
- Adequate communication skills in English.

- Ability to build strong relationships with Japanese partners and stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
