Job summary

Job description

Knowledge

• Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
• Fully familiar with the technical specifications and applications of rotating equipment within an offshore oil and gas facility, including procurement, installation, and commissioning requirements. Particularly turbine-driven compressors and generators.
• Conversant with mechanical equipment design requirements using API, ANSI, ASME, and other applicable codes and standards.
• Fully familiar with the procurement, testing, installation, and commissioning of major rotating equipment in the offshore environment.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the full project cycle from concept development through to installation.

Experience

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in mechanical rotating equipment design and specification, including considerable practical experience in fabrication and installation for offshore facilities.
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team for facilities engineering projects and/or offshore development projects.
