B-Universe is seeking a dynamic Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging content for all major platforms and stay ahead of trends. This on-site role at the Tokyo Hub PIK2 entails collaborating with design, video, and editorial teams to maintain a strong brand voice while delivering timely content.

You will manage publishing schedules, analyze performance, and adapt strategies based on platform changes, with a focus on high-quality short-form content and rapid storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Understanding of digital social media or internship in a similar role.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling for short-form content.
• Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Familiar with platform-specific formats (Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, YouTube Shorts).
• Creative thinker with strong aesthetics and pop culture awareness.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt quickly.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce high-quality content (text, image, video, Reels/TikToks) for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads, and Facebook.
• Monitor trends and digital conversations to produce real-time or trending content.
• Collaborate with design, video, and editorial teams to ensure consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
• Schedule and publish posts using tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Emplify, Meta Business Suite).
• Analyze content performance and suggest optimizations.
• Participate in content brainstorming and campaign planning.
• Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and best practices.
