Job summary

NTT DATA in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Associate Software Applications Development Engineer to develop new applications and improve existing ones based on internal and client needs.

You will design, code, test, install, and document software while collaborating with stakeholders in an agile environment. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering and skills in Java, Python, C++, and SQL are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or software engineering.
• Certifications in Java, Perl, Python, or C++ preferred.
• Scrum / Project Management certification preferred.
• Moderate level software applications engineering or related experience.
• Moderate level experience with C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Moderate level experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Moderate level experience with SQL and Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops applications that effectively accomplish client objectives and user needs.
• Designs and writes code for applications and maintains application databases.
• Analyzes and edits existing software to improve functionality and adapt to new hardware.
• Remodels and adapts applications to optimize performance.
• Tests applications extensively to ensure they are error and bug-free.
• Produces software documentation following company processes and templates.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to obtain information on project limitations and requirements.
