Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a mid-level Quality Ops Tech to support QA/QC inspection activities for offshore and onshore projects. The role focuses on one discipline—Welding, Electrical & Instrumentation, or Coating—based on qualifications and needs, ensuring inspection readiness and compliance with project standards.

Responsibilities include planning inspections, coordinating with project teams, maintaining records, and supporting NDT, calibration, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent (technical background preferred).
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in QA/QC inspection, coordination, or related field.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with international codes and QA/QC standards is an advantage.
• Certification Requirements (Mandatory – Any One Discipline) such as CSWIP, AWS CWI, CompEx or NACE

Responsibilities

• QA/QC Coordination & Inspection Planning for offshore and onshore projects.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering, and operations to ensure inspection readiness.
• Maintain inspector certifications, qualifications, and approvals for compliance.
• Support welding, E&I, or coating inspection activities depending on discipline.
• Ensure inspection documentation accuracy, traceability, and timely reporting.
