Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Officer to join our team at PT Cipta Krida Bahari in Surabaya, East Java. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a strong background in logistics, documentation, and customer service, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Handling end-to-end shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and bill of lading.
  • Processing customer orders accurately and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicating proactively with customers regarding shipment updates, delays, and queries.
  • Coordinating with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of services.
  • Responding to and resolving customer complaints and claims in a professional and timely manner.
  • Preparing documentation for invoicing in line with customer agreements and internal requirements.
  • Acting as a liaison between finance and customers to ensure timely payment.
  • Reporting customer service performance and metrics to management regularly.

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Shipping Documentation, or Freight Forwarding (Export, Import, Domestic).
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and manage various customer needs with patience and professionalism.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
