Job Description

This position will be placed in Jakarta

Scope of Position

Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Export Department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
3. Understand all the elements of Ocean DLSOP in Indonesia and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customers’ instructions and expectations.
4. Track and Trace Ocean Export Files and reporting
5. Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations
6. Understand department process flow, and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
7. Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are in place and updated in the DLSOPs
8. Oversee communications, providing timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
9. Utilize all technology tools available in the company to perform customer service and operations duties.
10. Escalate problems to Management when necessary

Qualifications

1. Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
2. Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
3. Pro-active, strong organizational skills
4. Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
5. Must be ready to work overtime if/when necessary.
6. Fluent in English
