Job description

Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator

Create, review, and update health and safety policies and procedures in line with company and government regulation.

Perform regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standard.

Plan, organize, and conduct safety training programs for employees and managers to ensure understanding of safety protocols and legal requirements.

Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and incidents; document findings, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Act as a liaison between the organization and external agencies (e.g., regulatory bodies, insurance, emergency services) regarding safety matters.

Provide support to the Human Resources department on matters pertaining to employee welfare.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM qualification and completed DOSH approved training course for OSH coordinator.

Diploma in OSH or related fields is a plus.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

1-2 years' experience in safety assistant, coordinator or technician role.
